SITUATION
Nobody Told Me Studios was two founders building an independent film and production studio around a specific conviction: that the most meaningful stories come from perspectives the traditional industry overlooks. They knew exactly what they wanted to protect. The studio that would do the protecting had no identity yet.
DIAGNOSIS
A studio brand has a problem most brands don't. It has to be recognizable enough to mean something on a title card, and quiet enough that it never competes with the film behind it. Build it too loud and every project starts to look like the studio instead of like the artist. That would have contradicted the entire reason the company exists.
DECISION
Build a flexible system rather than a fixed look. Typography discipline, minimal composition, symbolic graphic elements and deliberate restraint stay constant. Color, tone, motion and creative direction adapt to each film. Every project gets room to express its own identity while staying visibly connected to the studio.
WHAT WE BUILT
Brand strategy and positioning, brand purpose and creative principles, voice and tone, the full logo suite with primary, secondary and monogram marks, typography in ITC Avant Garde Gothic, a six-color cinematic palette with defined logo pairings, and the brand manual.
