Rüna Glassworks
Identity · Podcast Art Direction · Print Advertising

A stained glass studio that treats the medium as contemporary fine art, not craft fair inventory. The artist was already making the work and already building an audience through her podcast. What she needed was one identity strong enough to hold the studio, the show and the print work at the same time.
SITUATION
The work was strong and the audience was growing. The brand around it was not keeping up. Episode artwork, the studio mark and anything headed to print were all being made separately, so nothing carried from one to the next. An artist known for a specific point of view had no visual signature to match it.
DIAGNOSIS
This is what happens when a maker builds the audience before the identity. Every asset gets solved in the moment it is needed. The fix was never a better logo on its own. It was a system that could stretch across a podcast tile, a merch drop and a full page magazine ad without losing its voice.
DECISION
Build the identity out of the medium itself. Stained glass is line, lead and light, and the mark had to behave the same way. Once that was set, the podcast artwork and the print work stopped being separate jobs and started reinforcing each other.
WHAT WE BUILT
A complete logo suite with primary, secondary and mark-only lockups for everything from a website header to a sticker. A podcast art system that keeps every episode tile recognizable as one show while giving each guest their own moment. Magazine advertisements built to hold their own on a printed page next to work that costs a great deal more to run.
