Shoot The Twin
Apparel Design · Merchandise Graphics · Print Design

Shoot The Twin is a Spanish lifestyle label founded by twin sisters, built on creativity, culture and connection. We designed apparel and merchandise for them, printed goods that carry the brand's point of view without a logo doing the talking.
SITUATION
Shoot The Twin already had the harder half of a brand: a real identity, a real story and an audience that buys into both. What they wanted was product that carried it. Not logo goods, but pieces people would choose for the design first and find the name on second.
DIAGNOSIS
Merch and product are two different jobs and most brands only ever do the first. Merch advertises the brand. Product earns its place in someone's home or on their body regardless. For a label built on creativity and culture, printing the name across a blank tee would have said the opposite of everything the brand claims about itself.
DECISION
Design goods, not merch. Give each piece a graphic strong enough to stand alone, put the name small and let the artwork do the work. A scarf that reads as a scarf. A blanket somebody keeps out. A hat with the message on the brim where the wearer sees it every time they look down.
WHAT WE BUILT
A printed silk scarf and a matching blanket built from the same hand-drawn palm and lettering, redrawn for each format so neither one looks like a scaled version of the other. A bucket hat with the graphic wrapping the brim and a sun on the crown. Colorways worked out across the range so the pieces read as a family on a shelf and still hold up alone. Shoot The Twin's name sits on every piece at the size it deserves, which is small.
