We keep what works and rebuild what does not. Plenty of founders come to us with a logo they paid for, a color palette that half fits, and a website that no longer matches where the business went. That is normal, and it does not mean starting over. The first thing we do is figure out whether the problem is the identity itself or the strategy underneath it. Often the mark is fine and the issue is that nothing was ever built around it, so every new piece looks like it came from a different company. In that case we keep the mark and build the system it never had. Sometimes the identity genuinely does not fit the business anymore, usually because the business grew past it or the original brief was thin. We will tell you that directly rather than charge you to decorate something that is working against you. If you have real equity in your existing identity, meaning customers recognize it, we protect that. Evolution beats reinvention when there is something worth carrying forward. That judgment call is part of the work, not an upsell.
