Much Obliged Co.
Concept / Identity / Website

Much Obliged came to us with software and a conviction. People were making a living in ways the tools had not caught up to, selling at markets, taking commissions, getting supported by the people who follow their work. What they did not have was a name for that world, or a reason anyone would leave the platform already taking a cut of everything they earned.
SITUATION
Much Obliged came to us with software and a conviction. People were making a living in ways the tools had not caught up to, selling at markets, taking commissions, getting supported by the people who follow their work. What they did not have was a name for that world, or a reason anyone would leave the platform already taking a cut of everything they earned.
DIAGNOSIS
Every platform in the category charges a percentage, which means the better you do, the more they take. Nobody had ever said that out loud in a way that stung. The product was already built on a flat eight dollars a month. The brand had to make that difference impossible to look away from.
DECISION
Name the enemy and name the world. The enemy is the success tax. The world is the Anywhere Economy, where a sale happens at a market stall, in a direct message, or across a counter. The whole brand hangs off those two phrases.
WHAT WE BUILT
Concept development, brand strategy and positioning, naming the Anywhere Economy, the full identity system, voice and messaging, product naming across Audience, Counter and Private Sales, and the website.
